Local League

Local League is about playing lacrosse right here in your community.

Our local leagues are a great place for players interested in lacrosse to learn, hone and develop their skills. Local league teams are carefully constructed and rebalanced if required to ensure the most even competition possible.

Most important, local lacrosse is a fantastic way for everyone to get – and stay – involved in our lacrosse community as players and parents alike are guaranteed to make new friends that often last a lifetime.

Mimico Lacrosse has two local leagues: The Mimico Box Lacrosse League (MBLL) and Mimico Women’s Field Lacrosse League (MWFL).

Box Lacrosse

The Mimico Box Lacrosse League (MBLL)

The Mimico Box Lacrosse League is a great place for players interested in lacrosse or rep lacrosse in the future to learn, hone and develop their skills.

Local League teams play one game/week following two weeks of lacrosse instruction and skill development with experienced coaches. The season starts early April and lasts for 10 weeks.

Women’s Field Lacrosse

Mimico Women’s Field Lacrosse League

The Mimico Women’s Field Lacrosse League (MWFL) is a great place for players interested in lacrosse or rep lacrosse in the future to hone and develop their skills. The emphasis of the local women’s house league program is having fun and learning the skills of women’s lacrosse.

This is an outdoor program. The season begins in May and runs for 8 weeks.
